Join us in supporting Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity in the Peak District

CamperKing is proud to be supporting Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity again for their latest family challenge, The Edale Skyline Challenge, and we would love to see you there as part of our Club CamperKing event.

To make the most of the bank holiday weekend, we will also be hosting a Club CamperKing event that incorporates the walk.
From Friday 3rd May to Monday 6th May 2024, Club CamperKing will be staying at Pindale Farm and organising a range of activities in addition to The Edale Skyline Challenge.
Alternatively, if you are unable to attend for the full weekend, you can attend just for the Edale Skyline walk day, without camping.
It would be amazing to have you join us in raising money for this very worthwhile charity.

With The Edale Skyline Challenge taking place on Sunday 5th May 2024, this event will see participants discovering the natural beauty of the Peak District, whilst importantly, raising money for children with brain tumours and their families.

There are two options to choose from:

  • A 20-mile walk (for 11-year-olds and over)
  • Or the Train and Trek’ route that involves the fun of a rail journey followed by 13 miles of walking (open to all ages, though anyone under 11-years-old should be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Friday 3rd May – Monday 6th May 2024

Prices

The Edale Skyline Challenge: £30 per person

OSCARs Edale Skyline Challenge

Why we are taking part in this event

We want Club CamperKing members to take on the Edale Skyline Challenge with us and Oscar’s charity team to help raise money for children with brain tumours and their families.
You can discover the spectacular natural beauty of the Peak District as you hike around this route which takes you on a high-level adventure across several peaks, including; Summit Brown Knoll, Mam Tor, Back Tor, Lose Hill and Win Hill. Experience some of the best views in the Peak District as you push yourself on this incredible walking challenge. This is an adventure not to be missed, all for a worthy cause.

Club CamperKing will be staying at Pindale Farm in the village of Hope over the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 3rd May, to Monday 6th May 2024. This is an ideal location to be in for beginning and finishing the walk.

As this incorporates a charity event, we have been asked to raise as much money as possible.
Oscar’s Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity’s goal for the event is £20,000, or £200 per entrant. To assist them in reaching this goal, CamperKing has set up a JustGiving page and it would be great if you could contribute and share this with your friends and family so that they can sponsor you to take part in this challenge.
